What is “Cocktail Attire”?

For the ladies: Dress (any length), dressy separates, or pant suit

For the gentlemen: Suit or pants with button down shirt and jacket/blazer (tie optional)

How much time should I allow for travel?

About 5-15 minutes extra for when you’re actually planning to arrive—it’s NYC and can be unpredictable.

Should I bring a gift?

First, the most important thing is our family and friends being with us. As corny as that sounds, that’s all we want from this.

IF you feel inclined to gift something, we ask that it not be anything in physical form—our baggage space is limited—or that you donate to our honeymoon fund.

Can we bring our kids?

We’d like this to stay an adults-only affair, please. Besides, there’s absolutely nothing to do in NYC, so your kids would probably be bored out of their minds ;)

How disappointed in me are Ryan and Lauren going to be, if I’m unable to attend?

They'll be disappointed that you won't be able to come, because they want to see you and celebrate with you. However, they will never be disappointed in you. Life happens, and it's totally ok.
